Celebrate 100 Years of Service: Support the Changemakers of Tomorrow!

This year, the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation proudly celebrates 100 years of igniting good, honoring students and community members of noble character who put service above self. Since our inception, Sullivan has awarded over $17 million in scholarships, and trained more than 5,000 students and faculty, investing over $1 million annually in life-changing programs.

For a century, we’ve been committed to shaping leaders who not only dream of a world but actively work to create one. As we reflect on this milestone, we also recognize that the need for compassionate leadership has never been greater.

The challenges our communities face today require bold solutions and dedicated leaders who are ready to take action. That’s why we’ve launched the Sullivan Service Corps, giving students the opportunity to work on the frontlines of recovery efforts, like those following Hurricane Helene, where they directly contribute to long-term community resilience and rebuilding.

Programs like the Sullivan Fellowship, Sullivan Service Corps and Ignite Retreats equip students with the skills, confidence, and heart to make an immediate and lasting impact. These immersive experiences transform students into leaders who dedicate their lives to serving others. Sullivan invests over $1M annually to support and educate future leaders. Yet, many students miss out due to limited funding. With your support, we can grow these life-changing programs and ensure that every deserving student has the opportunity to participate and make a difference.

As someone who has witnessed the impact of the Sullivan Foundation, I am writing to ask for your much-needed support to grow and expand programs like the Sullivan Service Corps. Without it, this vital work—and the growth of future changemakers—cannot happen. Your support will:

• Provide financial aid to give students access to leadership opportunities and the skills to drive positive change.
• Expand Sullivan’s reach, connecting with more universities and communities in need of impactful people.
